Feedback from recipients of a Cancer Card Comfort Box

This book is proving to be the most helpful and inspiring I have ever read.

Perhaps it is because I am at the beginning of this frightening and lonely journey.  Thank you to all those brave people who shared their experiences in order to give me some hope.

Thank you so much for the beautiful Comfort Box. I particularly love the Stories of Cancer and Hope. I have so far only read a few stories but I already feel that, with this book and the other contents of the box, I am not along on this path, Words cannot express how grateful I am to have received it.

AC Lanarkshire

When I received your beautiful Comfort Box, the last thing I wanted to do was read about cancer – I wanted to get away from it! How wrong was I! About half way through my treatment I picked up the book and started to read some of the stories. I cannot believe the strength that people develop to overcome this awful disease. I now feel I am part of that community and developing the strength I never thought I had. Thank you so much to the author and to all the brave people who contributed to this book. It really is helping me as I continue my battle

JG Lothian

Inspirational and Courageous.

That is how I would describe the book you enclosed with the comfort box. Thank you so much to everyone who wrote their experiences down and shared it with other cancer patients.

Heartwarming must read for people going through cancer treatment. I'm currently undergoing chemo treatment for breast cancer and this book was recommended by a breast cancer surgeon. Wonderful personal stories from people who have gone through various types of cancer journeys. I found the book really uplifting and it has given me so much hope that I can get through this. Even though apparently 1 in 2 people get cancer, I don't know anybody else going through it at the moment so it was really helpful to read these stories and see how people cope with this terrible diagnosis. Loved it ;)

Enlightening. Full of true life stories from a real cancer patient. Don't read it all at once though, it will cost you more in tissues. Honored to say I have met the compiler & what an extraordinary man! Profits go to Maggie's Charity.

An inspiring read for someone with cancer. Having cancer can be a very lonely place. Friends and family may offer support however there is nothing better than hearing from others who have/had cancer. So many time I thought "that's happened to me" when reading Stories of Cancer and Hope. After reading I don't feel as alone
